SYNOPSIS:

Designed and led  Sunbar project, seeking to connect Bostonians with the sun and one another during long winters. Collaborated with Afro-Latin percussionist Cornell Coley and public artist Aziza Robinson-Goodnight to create music-based bus shelter interventions in Mattapan Square. Collaborated with 10 teens at the Urbano Project to design, build and deploy a Sunbar prototype and conduct outdoor bus shelter interventions in Upham’s Corner and Hyde Park, offering free hot drinks and engaging passersby in the question of how they stayed warm and connected during the winter.
